纽约州共和党写给司法部长的一封信

尊敬的联邦司法部长Bondi：

我们正式请求您立即对纽约州民主党领导人公然试图破坏选举程序、以谋取党派利益的行为展开调查。
他们最新的举措——对纽约州特别选举法的拟议修改，是对权力的公然滥用，旨在剥夺纽约人所应有的国会代表权，并试图操纵华盛顿的权力平衡。

纽约州民主党人在州长Kathy Hochul和国会众议院少数党领袖Hakeem Jeffries的指示下，提出了一项立法，试图允许他们将纽约州第21国会选区的特别选举推迟至11月。
这一举措毫无正当理由，其立法目的仅仅是为了削弱共和党在众议院的多数席位，并试图阻挠川普总统的议程。
这一立法行动尤其令人震惊，因为纽约州议会最近刚刚一致通过了一项法案，规定州长必须在议会席位出现空缺后的10天内宣布特别选举，并在接下来的70至80天内举行特别选举。
而如今州长及其民主党盟友纯粹为了他们的党派利益则试图绕开无视这一法律要求，他们的行为可谓是典型的【选举干预】。

自《2021年第320号法案》（Chapter 320 of the Laws of 2021）签署成为法律以来，纽约州已经按照此法律规定举行过了多次特别选举，其中仅在2024年就进行了两次。在那些投票倾向有利于民主党的选区，从未有人提议推迟选举。
而对于此次特别选举，民主党人推迟特别选举的做法，明显是为了阻挠共和党在州和联邦层面可能获得的代表权。
而民主党人这种行为正是《2021年第320号法案》法律所试图防止的情况。

而这并非个别事件，这是纽约州民主党人长期操纵选举的组成部分。例如：

  • 选区重划的丑闻：纽约州民主党人屡次试图以违宪的方式来重新划分国会和州议会选区，以使其变得民主党党派得益，他们甚至通过操控纽约上诉法院的法官人选来达成目的。
  • 操控选举法的诉讼：民主党人通过不断地修改州法律，规定对选举法的法律挑战仅能限于在四个由民主党控制的郡内，以此阻止司法系统/法院对其违宪政策进行审查。
  • 操纵选举的时间表：民主党最近通过立法，将地方选举改为偶数年举行，目的就是为了提高民主党选民的投票率，同时削弱共和党候选人的竞争力。

这些例子清楚地表明，纽约州民主党人正系统性地试图操纵选举程序，以谋取党派优势，从而剥夺纽约州选民公平选择代表的权利。
这是一种明显的政治操纵，意在让选举机制向某一党派倾斜，并损害纽约州选民的利益。

      上一篇《在纽约投票（1）：我要登记成共和党还是民主党？》 https://lingfeithisistheway.blogspot.com/2025/01/1.html 讲选民与新选民在登记时要如何选择政党。 这篇就结合实际例子来说明。 比如这个： 这是南BK的一位华人（叶凌霞） 出来挑战  现任的极左的市议员（Alexa Avilés ，市议会38选区，DSA成员） ——Alexa Avilés，西语裔，和AOC同属于DSA的极左分子。 以一份公开的“ Candidate Answers to JOLDC ”的答卷中， 她的极左主张如下： 1.要求纽约要对奴隶制（黑人）进行赔偿， 2.反对一切削弱保释改革（即免保释金释放）的努力， 3. 要求 废除纽约的帮派数据库， 4.要求关闭雷克岛监狱， 5.反对一切监狱制度，禁止所有监狱中的单独监禁， 6.支持“性工作”全面合法化， 7.要求允许非公民在纽约投票， 8.支持取消警察和其他执法人员的有条件豁免权， 9.支持在社区设立免费吸毒所， 10.要求将警察从以下学校、心理健康、社区服务、交通执法及游民等等领域撤出 11.要求削减纽约警察局的资金， 12.完全反对市长清除游民营地的做法， 13.要求拆除哥伦布雕像， 在过往的投票纪录中， 她 投票反对延长纽约警局的养老金， 投票反对要求电车电池要经过UL认证... 等等... 基本上，我们反对的，她都赞同，她赞同的我们都反对，算是左到极致的代表了。 由于38区的具体情况，在这个区共和党几次挑战都失败了， 并且 这位华人（叶凌霞）， 原本是 国会民主党议员 Dan Goldman 的华裔助理，算是个温和的民主党人， 所以， 这位华人（叶凌霞） 选择在【民主党初选】中挑战现任的极左市议员。 那么， 这也就意味着如果你想支持她（华人，反极左）， 那么，你就要按她的政党（民主党）来登记你的政党， 这样才能在【初选】中投给这位华人（叶凌霞）一票。 ——如果你登记是【无政党】或是【共和党】，就没办法在【初选】中投给她。 ——如果这位华人（叶凌霞）没能在【初选】中战胜极左的现任，那么她的名字也不会出现在大选的选票上。 在这种情况下，那怕你非常厌恶民主党，但为了支持这位华人（叶凌霞），也需要重新登记一次选民登记表，将【政党】临时换到民主党， ——等过了初选后，还可以再...
